Submit a request
Sworn law-enforcement officers can file a data request below. You'll get a reference number on screen and by email, and our legal team responds to the agency email you provide. This is a separate channel from content takedowns. For an emergency involving an imminent threat to life, mark the request Emergency disclosure and email legal@ojaladating.com as well.
Contact
Send all legal process to legal@ojaladating.com. Include the requesting officer's name, agency, agency-issued email, and case reference in the subject line.
For end-to-end encrypted delivery we accept submissions via Kodex — request access at legal@ojaladating.com and we will provision your agency's portal account.
We do not accept service via in-app message or phone call. Where a statute requires physical service (e.g. some state preservation letters), address paper process to our records custodian:
Legal process we accept
All process must be addressed to Polari Group and signed by an authorized officer of the requesting agency or a court.
What we retain
- Subscriber info — for the life of the account plus 7 years after deletion in an encrypted compliance archive.
- Login + IP + location history — 1 year in primary storage, then 6 years in immutable cold archive.
- Messages — for the life of the conversation, including soft-deleted bodies, plus a 7-year archive on account deletion.
- Photos — original uploads kept while in slot. Replaced or deleted photos retained 90 days then hard-deleted unless under legal hold.
- Audit log + moderation decisions — 1 year in primary storage, then 6 years in cold archive.
We do not retain payment details directly — Pro subscriptions and in-app purchases run through Apple's App Store and Google Play; their law-enforcement response processes are separate. We retain only the last 4 digits of the store subscription identifier for reconciliation.
Costs
Per 18 U.S.C. § 2706, we provide the first 100 records per calendar year per agency at no charge. Beyond that:
- $50 / hour of staff time (round to the nearest 15 minutes)
- Pass-through copy costs (Kodex / certified mail / encrypted USB)
- Outside-counsel hours billed at our cost when scope review is required
Estimates provided up-front on request.
Anonymous-mode accounts
Anonymous-mode accounts (no email or password, anchored on a browser fingerprint plus a server-issued token) are subject to the same legal process as full accounts. We retain the same forensic data — IP, user-agent, fingerprint, in-app activity — and produce it under valid legal process. The “anonymous” label refers to the public-facing UX (no display name shown to other users); it is not a privacy guarantee against lawful access.
Tor / VPN traffic
We log the IP we see. We cannot see behind Tor exits or VPN gateways. Production responses note when an account's traffic consistently comes from anonymizing infrastructure so the investigating agency can pursue upstream subpoenas as needed.
Transparency
We publish an annual transparency report at /legal/transparency covering request counts by type, jurisdiction, response rates, and accounts affected. The next report covers calendar 2026 and publishes January 2027.
